GCEDA Press Release Economic Development Authority Welcomes New Board Members Standardsville, VA, April 2, 2008: The Greene County Economic Development Authority welcomes two new members to its board of directors. Jane Capone, Office Administrator for RE/MAX Realty Specialists earned her real estate license in 2007 and has 25 years experience in retail and business management. Marianne Shepard, AAMS®, earned her bachelor's degree as a computer science and math major and is a financial advisor with Edward Jones specializing in wealth management strategies. Newly elected EDA Board officers are: G. Willis Logan, Chairman, Matthew Woodson, Vice Chairman, Adrian Shifflett, Treasurer and Marianne Shepard, Secretary. Logan is president of the Virginia Wine of the Month Club and has over 10 years experience in government and retail business management. Woodson is a real estate agent with Roy Wheeler Realty Company and has over 12 years experience in retail sales and business management. Shifflett is financial advisor for the University of Virginia Community Credit Union and has over seven years experience in finance. The EDA also welcomes two new liaisons: Jeri Allen, Ruckersville District Supervisor from the Greene County Board of Supervisors and Anthony Herring, Commissioner from the Greene County Planning Commission.
