Greene County is centrally located along two major transportation corridors - at the intersection of US 29 (a major north/south highway) and US 33 (a major east/west highway). It is within 20 miles of Interstate 64, within 25 miles of Interstate 81, and within 47 miles of Interstate 66. The County is less than five miles from the Charlottesville/Albemarle Airport and 63 miles from Washington Dulles International Airport.
